PLEASE NOTE: Childcare will be provided only during the day-time sessions of the convention. Should you wish childcare for the evening of the Bishop’s dinner or any other evening, we will make every effort to recommend sitters from the Ascension community. You will be expected to pay for this service and arrangements must be made with the registrar two weeks prior to the Convocation Convention.

ACCOMMODATION DURING THE CONVENTION


We strongly suggest that you plan to stay at the convention center. The convention center offers single room accommodation and a very limited number of family/double rooms (all rooms with private WC and shower). Please note that this is a center for spiritual retreat and the accommodations are simple. For views of the convention center see www.schloss-fuerstenried.de and click on “Bilder”.

We have reserved a block of double rooms under the name Convocation Convention at a cost of €139 per night (same price for single or double occupancy of the room), including breakfast, at the Holiday Inn Munich South, Kistlerhofstrasse 142, 81379 Munich, 10 minutes from the convention center by car (or two stops on the U-Bahn (subway train) plus a ten-minute walk). You are responsible for making this overnight reservation yourself directly with the hotel (see details attached).



REGISTRATION FEE


The Registration Fee of:

- €300.00 per person covers the following expenses: registration, all coffee breaks, three lunches (Friday, Saturday & Sunday), dinner on Thursday, cocktails and Bishop’s Dinner (Friday), dinner and entertainment (Saturday), coach transport between conference facilities and the location of the Bishop’s Dinner, and to the Closing Eucharist on Sunday morning at the Church of the Ascension, and includes three nights accommodation (with breakfast) in a single or double room at the convention center.

Or, for those not staying at the convocation center:

- €23o.00 per person covers all of the above but without the overnight accommodation.

Please note that transportation to your accommodation on arrival and from Convention on your departure are not included in the registration fee.

Registered visitors, special guests and accompanying persons are warmly invited to attend the dinners on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and the entertainment on Saturday.


Deadline for payment of the registration fee and overnight accommodation at the convention center is 1 September 2007. Payment should be made, in euros only,
by bank direct transfer to the Church of the Ascension account at:
