Call
to Convention
In
accordance with the provisions of Canon 2, Section 3, of the Canons
of the Convocation of American Churches in Europe, it is my pleasure
to give notice hereby to all canonically resident and other licensed
clergy of the Convocation, to all duly certified lay delegates, and
to other friends of the Convocation, that the 2007
Annual Convention
will be hosted by the
Church
of the Ascension, Munich,
and will be held at the
Schloss
Fürstenried
Conference Center
Forst-Kasten-Allee 103
81475 Munich, Germany
from Thursday, October 25 to
Sunday, October 28, 2007.
The
provisional
schedule
is
available with this Call to Convention.
Registration for all
delegates and visitors will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October
25. Everyone is urged to stay until lunchtime on Sunday, October 28
in order to participate in the Closing Eucharist of the Convention,
at which Bishop Whalon will preside and preach.
A
Convention
registration form and information on hotels are also
available. Please
read them carefully and complete one form per clergy and lay
delegate, which should be returned as indicated in the
documentation.

1. The Council
of Advice will meet
beginning on Wednesday, October 24 at 14.00.
2. Venue:
All Council of Advice
meetings and Convention sessions will be held at the Conference
Center.
