Dear Mission 2006 Delegates,

First of all, we would like to thank each and every one of you for your contribution to the Mission 2006 consultations. The excitement and dedication to the mission and ministry of the Convocation that was expressed during the weekend was a joy to watch and participate in, and we are confident that together we have created the foundations for an exciting new chapter of our common life here in Continental Europe.

The Council of Advice has met several times to discuss the reports and to plan the next steps in the process. As a result of these discussions, and in listening to the comments of participants, we would like to ask all those of you who were present at Mission 2006 to read the compiled reports carefully. You are invited to send your comments, corrections and additions on any of these reports to the convener/s of that particular discussion, up until August 31.

Meanwhile a small taskforce has been set up which will be responsible for collating the reports and synthesizing them into a document which will be made available to the delegates to the Frankfurt Convention, where much time has been set aside for planning a coherent mission strategy based on the outcome of your work.

Please take a look at the compiled proposals from all those who participated in the discussions.

May the Lord richly bless us all in accomplishing his dream for us!

+Pierre, Bishop-in-Charge and

Andrea D’Agosto, President, Council of Advice
