The Memorandum of Understanding establishing a full-communion relationship between the Church of Sweden and the Episcopal Church was ratified by both the General Convention of the Episopcal Church and the Synod of the Church of Sweden in 2022. On Monday, March 27, 2023, Episcopal Presiding Bishop, the Most Rev. Michael Curry and the Swedish Primate, the Archbishop of Uppsala, the Most Rev. Martin Modéus will sign the MOU at a ceremony in the American Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Paris at 11:00 a.m.
