SOME MEMBERS FROM ST. COLUMBAN'S PAUSE FOR A PHOTO WITH THE COUNCIL OF ADVICE AFTER A SUNDAY SERVICE
Saint Columban's Mission offers a spiritual home to residents of and visitors to Karlsruhe and the surrounding region. While firmly rooted in the Anglican tradition, St Columban's congregation welcomes all Christians to its Sunday service, regardless of their denominational affiliation. Worshippers include, expatriates, students, and Germans, some of whom enjoy using the German-English bilingual Book of Common Prayer to participate more fully in the service.
The congregation makes the Anglican tradition visible in the local ecumenical environment and contributes, together with other Churches, to the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people in the city and the surrounding region. The Mission belongs to the Council of Anglican Episcopal Churches in Germany which organizes the co-operation of Anglican and Episcopal chaplaincies and congregations based in Germany. St. Columan's is also a member of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Christlicher Kirchen (Council of Christian Churches) in Karlsruhe.
